After Annual General Meeting (AGM) of WTIA successfully held on 14 Sept 2004, the new WTIA Executive Committee (Board of Directors) and Executive Council have been established for the following 2 years. Mr. John Chiu has become the new Chairman, while Mr. Duncan Lau, the Ex-Chairman, has become our Advisor and CEO of Special Projects.
The Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) and the InfraValley Inc. (InfraValley) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 23 Sept 2004 that sets forth the framework by which both will jointly promote wireless technology and build cooperative ties between both regions.

Hong Kong Wireless Development Centre (HKWDC) is a new non-profit operation entity established in December 2003 with funding from the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF), HKSAR Government. The centre is managed by the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) to reinforce the promotion in awareness, usage and development of wireless technology and applications in Hong Kong. HKWDC members are:

3.) Mobile Content Aggregators
4.) System Integrators for Wireless Products
