The HK Cyberport iResource Centre (IRC) is setup as a mean to provide a central access library and gateway to public and subscribed information, such as technical bulletins, knowledge base, statistical data, clip art, 2D/3D computer graphics, International standards, etc for use by tenants at Hong Kong Cyberport and residents. iResource Centre also acts as an information centre for the creative industry which comprises of a multimedia content library, games development/testing platform and other online and traditional reference material.

With funding support of HK$12 million from the Innovation and Technology Fund of the HKSAR Government, the Hong Kong Wireless Development Centre (HKWDC) was officially opened today (15 December 2003) to support the development of the local mobile and wireless industry. Located at the Cyberport in Pokfulam, the HKWDC was established by the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) with technical support from the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC).
