From 2001, Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) has accomplished many significant achievements to facilitate industry growth and business partnership by establishing Hong Kong Wireless Development Centre (HKWDC), collaborating with government / local & overseas counterparts, organizing many popular / admired events and implemeting technology research development.
With developments in convergence technologies and standards, the demarcation between fixed and mobile telecommunications markets will blur. The structure of the telecommunications industry in the near future will be quite different from what it is today.
